6 Extensive Playlists exploring different areas of indie
Hey people,
Hope you're all enjoying the start of the Xmas break. I may have mentioned this thing I'm doing for a group of friends where I share long playlists of catchy songs (I don't make them long with filler, I often cut them down from much bigger so don't be put off by the size) dedicated to a specific genre or theme. But if I haven't said..uh yeh so I'm doing that lol. And because they've been pressuring me and this year due to lockdown, had no good excuses. So I took it as an opportunity to organise my collection into playlists and explore more to fill in blind spots, so can't really complain. Anyway, as I've done the hard work for my friends, thought I'd share here too. Please find 6 indie sub-genre/fusion/idea playlists- WHITE WINTER HYMNALS - An Indie/Folk Christmas / Majority of original songs in a wintery/christmasy vibe. The covers try to follow the vibe. 114 songs. UNTIL THE SUN NEEDS TO RISE - Indie x House / Dancey indie tunes with a dum dum kinda beat weaved with mellower house tunes with instrumentation and a few more interesting things going on. 214 songs. SLEEPWALKERS - Dreamy Indie/Pop / This is actually a dream-pop (the indie genre) crossed with dreamy pop. Catchy, mellow float across clouds vibes. 378 songs. COMMON PEOPLE - Brit-Pop & Indie Classics > 2010 / A catch all playlist for all the hits from before 2010 from that scene. 353 songs. BITTER SWEET SYMPHONY - Violins of the British Isles / This playlist is about 90% indie rock, with a bit of classic pop & rock and trip-hop for the remainder. The theme is songs with prominent violins from Britain and Ireland. 175 songs. NEW SLANG - Cover Versions / Covers that diverge enough from the original. Realised after making it it was mostly indie bands so that's why it's last. 252 songs. Please let me know if you like these as I have other genres and themes I can share if there's any interest. I hope you enjoy, I would imagine everyone in this sub-section will find at at least one or two new bands to love.

Songs for Marie Marie
This playlist I made to keep track of songs I rec to Marie Monday in her BitchDork thread. It's not strictly all indie. Marie was kind enough to comment on each song.
