has anyone seen their christmas on mars movie? It looks pants. Their live schtick makes up for it though.
I have 'Hit to Death in the Future Head' and 'Yoshimi..' (always been more partial to the former). Any recommendations which album to check next? there are too many :s |

^^safe, i'm there.
i wasn't being sarcastic about their live show either, i was waiting for radiohead at glasto 2003 and accidentally ended up in the thick of their infamous vibe, never seen so many people smiling. 'she don't use jelly' was the highlight - |

Three main phases
1. 1983-1990, early lazy distorted avantgarde stuff that is mediocre, some people like it though 2. 1990-1995, more melody based colorful arrangements, but still a lot of distortion (this is the Jones era) 3. 1997- today, where they got a bit more accessible and abandoning most distortion. A lot of lush arrangements and interesting sounds. |
