ITAOTS is one of those albums I find myself returning to between year-long intervals. It's great fo' sho.

yup... i had a similar experience with on avery island... but alas i have grown to love anything they put out.

Love this band!!!! esp the raw sound of the album....very few people have heard of them when I mention the name...its something about those who try to do something different...even if the bands never get huge....they have such a unique sound...they end up acquiring a cult following

anyone heard olivia tremor control, jeff was a part of them in their early days. . . then left if i remember correctly.

I have just decided that On Avery Island is a wonderful album.
At first I was't' to sure about it
But is has some realy great tracks
And is consistant
So I love it

It generally means though that said main creative source has no more ideas or just doesn't feel he can come close to the bar that was raised by previous releases. So why ruin the legend and spotless reputation? Probably for the best.
