I dont like how Dr. Yellow Black likes everything that Unfan hates and goes around the forum praising it. Pretty low.

ok so, back on topic.

NMH is kind of a love it or hate it kind of band. i mean the lyrics sometimes don't make sense but they are still awesome as a whole. they don't need to make sense. and his voice is unique and suits the music very well. it comes down to taste i guess.

also aeroplane is an amazing album and it makes avery island look a little worse because of it

but avery island is an amazing stand alone album. i think it would get a lot more praise if it wasn't put out by a band who put out an album as close to perfection as Aeroplane was

i concur. a lot of avery island hate for a NMH thread.

But I really feel like saying that In The Aeroplane Over The Sea is no doubt my favorite album of all time. I was only 12 when I first heard it and at the time I thought I was only a hand full of people to know about it. This thread amazes me because never before have I seen so many people love it, without having to read "Overrated hipster trash" That kills me.

Anyways, this is truly an amazing album. And I can honestly admit, the only song to ever make me want to cry was Two-Headed Boy pt.2, the part when he sings "And in my dreams you're alive and you're crying" That and it is the greatest closing track ever, he sings "But don't hate her when she gets up to leave" and then you literally hear Jeff get up and leave. I can't say anything more than, "Amazing."
