Not all of their stuff is poppy. I don't like half of their repertoire but honestly don't think they are that bad.

I think Goofie might be right about 'Because of the Times.' I may have been to quick to dismiss it. I think his point that it was "a more detailed approach" is accurate, although I do prefer the recklessness of the first 2 albums, I'm certainly going to listen to it some more.

I love Kings of Leon. I only listened to their latest and fourth release. I love their latest. I know it wasn't commerically successful. But I just connected to the lyrics and melodies a lot for some reason. But for favorite songs, "Radioactive," "Pyro," and of course (in my opionion) you got to love "Use Somebody."

The last two albums have been the most commercially successful out of their 5. You should listen to their other albums too, they're by far the best IMO.

Everyone says kings of leon's Newer music is "Bad" but they just grew up and there music changed. I have alot of respect for them

Me too, mate. They're husbands and fathers now. I wouldn't expect such rollicking balls to the wall rock and roll they pumped out in their early years at this stage in their life.

Kings of Leon have a handful of tour dates for next year and are expected to release a new album .What's your expectations for this album.

Never really liked this band although i really enjoyed the Rockumentary about them Talihina Sky was it? far more entertaining than anything they have released musically.
