I like both Snow Patrol and Coldplay, and in fact own both of their entire back catalogues.... but yeah, sometimes in the opening parts of songs, you can hear the similarities.... in that way bands like KOL come through sounding unique and that matters in this day and age where radio and music in general is, sadly, often left to blare away in the background...

anyways, i dont know why so many people hate Use Somebody, i find it really good. for a mainstream band there shithot still. in saying that i think they have more potential in maybe other genres

They're kinda open to a range of possible futures, because in listening to their previous work, they are capable of a range of genres... i only hope they remember that and don't send themselves down the mainstream path forever... do what bands like The Church did.... have your commercial period, and go on to make even better, more interesting stuff.... use the ample talent they seem to possess...

Kings of Leon: before and after
Hey guys,
I am a huge fan of KOL but I liked their music a lot better before they got "big." They're still cool guys of course but they look completely different and their sound is a little more poppy. I just wanted to see who else thought the same because now everyone is saying "I love KOL" but they don't know their past music vide. Eh, who knows. Please comment and let me know! Nicole |

I've always kinda liked them, and their newer stuff enticed me, mainly because its solid stuff and I kept hearing it and not getting sick of it... which led me to delve into their back catalogue, which I found even more impressive, and, consequently this made me wanna sign on as a fan... hehehe

i liked KOL back when they were more indie and ungerground
i just dont want them to be the "boyband" of rock music, if you will he has such a soulfull voice and as long as they make more songs like "four kicks" they will stay afloat on my waters |
