The newest album is absolutely awful. Shame because they could have been something good.

I'm the other way around. I don't like their other stuff but the new one is OK. Nothing outstanding and I have only played it once but I will give it another listen some time.

I was a casual fan until Because of the Times, I've seen them live too. I loved BotT, I found it to be their strongest effort so I was really dissapointed to see that they went in the direction they did. They've even admitted to selling out which I find quite awful, because they were successful enough to not have to become ****e just for a bit more money. 2008 has been a dissapointment for me with some of my favourite bands deciding to ditch what made them unique to get more attention.

My feelings exactly. They kept growing on me until I heard Because of the Times, and I absolutely loved it from start to end, only to be very disappointed by Only By The Night.

I still hope that they haven't made their masterpiece yet though.

Nothing anymore

They used to have this alluring swagger, the attitude that they didn't give a **** that everyone in American hated the **** out of then. They had that certain special quality to them, but eh, good things don't last forever, they were never spectacular, just a lot better than the rest of the mainstream ****.

Their new album isn't actually that bad, not as good as their first two, but better then the last batch of crap they put out.
