Default Sonic Youth, Man

I couldn't really find any threads about Sonic Youth so i'll just make one. What do people think of them? Personally, I think they're awesome.

Daydream Nation is their best album. That's just my opinion though.
Dirty's pretty good too.

Dirty is a must have..beginning to end, it leaves you in awe..

100%, Drunken Butterfly and Sugar Cane are awesome.
Swimsuit Issue is with the female singing, and one of my favs.
Nic Fit is just that, a nic fit put to music, pure perfection.

Thurston Moore is one of the most underrated guitarists ever.

Check out Dirty and Daydream Nation. If you start liking them, Washing Machine and Sonic Nurse are also good albums. Those are the only ones I have and heard, so..

Favorite songs would probably be Diamond Sea, Silver Rocket, Teenage Riot, Kissability, 100%, Peace Attack, and Pattern Recognition.

Wonderful - Evol , Sister, Daydream Nation , Goo , Dirty

OK - Experimental Jet Set Trash & No Star , Washing Machine , 1000 Leaves , Murray Street, Sonic Nurse

Crap - Sonic Youth, Kill Yr Idols/Confusuion Is Sex , Bad Moon Rising

****ing Awful - NYC Ghosts & Flowers (This remains the only album I own of a band I love that has NO songs I like on it whatsoever)
