was just talking about this band 2 days ago... My glasto mix this year (the cd mix I take with me) had all trip-hop on it and everyone liked it. Kosheen, Morcheeba, Kruder & Dorfmeister etc... (and of course Portishead)

The first release from the upcoming full length Jasta Division album. "Into The Blue" has a haunting, ethereal sound with hints of Portishead, Led Zepplin, Radiohead and Pink Floyd. Dim the lights, spark up... the incense, kick back, and enjoy drifting off "Into The Blue" with one of Fiberline's hottest new acts - Jasta Division. Hope you enjoy this tune as much as I do! |

the new album seems like a failed attempt. meshing opposing sounds together keeps the 1st listening interesting, but the following times through bored me to tears. there is so much repetition; it makes me wonder how quickly did they write this album. i'm really hoping what has leaked are the b-sides and something bigger and more thoughtful is about to come forth.

I've decided Portishead are probably second only to Radiohead in my favourite British acts of the last 15 years. Every single album they've made has been stunning, granted that figure currently only stands at 3 but hey.
This song to me is near perfection |
