What're some bands with a similar sound to those coming from labels like K and Up Records in the '90s?

Think early Built to Spill, 764 Hero, Modest mouse.

Following chains of influences I've found Treepeople (Doug Martsch's first band), Lync (who I really love) and Caustic Resin.

I've pretty much exhausted Washington bands.
