How about yet another indie band with an average debut album & will be forgotten about in 3 or 4 years time.

I remember them saying the same thing about Flowered Up , Menswear , S*M*A*S*H , These Animal Men , Orlando & The Weekenders

Remember them?

Thought not

Well not all bands end up like that.

Just look at The Coral, Feeder, Stereophonics, The Strokes, Muse etc.

muse arent indie, stereophonics whilr being pleasant and good party music are nothing special feeder- well have taken a huge ste in the wrong direction with sappy and spinless pushing the senses. the strokes are victims of their own hype but they have a lot of talent. granted, the coral are a very good band in my opinion but they are underrated. block party are nowhere near being the best indie band since the nineties. if you were to ask me what band IS the best since the 90s, i wouldnt hesitate in saying Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.

You have Beatles bias
I have Primal Scream bias

I`m not saying Kid A is better than XTRMNTR until you admit Exile On Main Street pisses over Sgt Pepper
