I origanally started listening to antics but turn on the bright lights is far better i totally agree with mr adiadasss that take you on a cruiseis probably one of the best songs ive heard in a long time

I USED to be mad about them. while TOTBL is still a great album, antics was a massive disappointment. it's got a couple enjoyable tracks but I don't think they have the staying power.

I hate all the crap people talk about selling out etc but I definitely think that interpol would have thrived as an underground band without needing a major label such as matador to promote them. Had they not extended themselves to such a large audience their follow up to TOTBL would have I believe, been more true to the bands signature sound and ambience and atmosphere..

Antics feels and felt so 'put on'-a direct attempt to reach a large musical market. I don't like it as much at all...TOTBL was a lot more obscure but it serviced them a lot better than this snakeskin lottery called Antics..

saw them at coachella 07. good because i enjoy the albums, but i have seen more intense stage performances.
