just got my first ablbum of their's yesterday electro shock blues, damn good stuff.

Thats probably my least favourite Eels album

But it`s still better than what most bands come out with.

I like the eels before they were cool. :P

I found Shootenanny to be a dissapointing album and I've only heard some tracks off Blinking Lights but I wasn't that impressed. It seems that E has gotten a bit shmaltzy in his old age.

Beautiful Freak, Electro-Shock Blues, Daisies of the Galaxy and to a certain extent, Souljacker, are all great albums.

Yeah there great

Saw E about a month ago. The previous time I'd seen them was just after Electro-Shock came out, and he got in a hissy fit about people calling out for Novocane, and of course he didn't play it, and out of spite I guess he didn't play most of the other stuff from Beautiful Freak. Worst gig I'd been to.

But last month he redeemed himself totally. Absolutely awesome show, with a flawless group of musicians backing him.

Haha, apparantly I look identical to the freaky chick on the cover of one of their albums when I make my wide-eyed messing around face!
