I saw them at a festival the summer of 2000 after the release of daisies of the galaxy .. It was a good concert, really charming. While I liked daisies, I grew incredibly tired of it because we used to play it a lot in the cafè where I worked, so I never actually got into any other Eel albums. I still have others such as electroshock blues in my collection, they've just been on my to-do list for a really long time. Any recommended tracks from that one?

Electro-shock Blues is their best i'd say, highlights for me would be Cancer For The Cure, Last Stop: This Town, 3 Speed and P.S You Rock My World. It's one of those albums that should be digested as a whole though i'd say.

Anyone mind uploading some high quality albums or pointing a brotha in the right direction? Demonoid seems to be packed with shitty and/or incomplete releases...

Hehehehehe... cool to see the beard is back! Thought that was a cool look around the Souljacker era... so, pardon me for my out of the loopness, but have the Eels only had one new album since Blinking Lights? So behind on some bands these days...

There was the Live at Town Hall album and DVD. They also released a best-of and a b-sides/rarities package.

My experience with Eels is pretty limited - I've only ever heard Novocaine For the Soul and a mate played me some bootleg of theirs once. I take it Beautiful Freak's the best bet as a starting point?

It's the only album I have and it is top drawer. I have been meaning to expand my eels collection for some time.
