My cousin drums for them. I think they might have possibly broken up as the vocalist is setting up a label and my cousin returned to Denmark. I actually just started listening to them this week and really dig it. Back when I was like eight they sent me posters, pics, autographed stuff, and cds. But I thought the music was annoying because I listened to Britney Spears so I trashed the stuff eventually. BUT I really dig em now. I didn't know people had actually heard of them. I thought they were just nobodies in Denmark. Cool!

Lucky... I don't know any well known musicians. Kinda sucks that they had their tour bus stolen and shit...

They did? I didn't hear about that haha.
Looked it up and it turns out I think everyone in the band quit except the two vocalists who are just a duo group now.

Default Lucky punch

I really think their albums have been a disapointment.

The started out with a singel that rocked(i cant remember the name), But since then its gone down hill.

I had such high expectations from these artists from my country :-)

Didn't they start off as a duo with a drum machine anyway?

I loved Whip It On. Its pretty high up on my favourites list but I never bothered after that. I heard a few tracks from their first full length after Whip It On and wasnt that bothered and the interest slowly faded. I might have to give them another go.

I think so. The Chain Gang of Love and Pretty In Black were my cousin though, Jakob Hoyer. But now he plays for some Danish jazz act that I think might be fairly recognized. I'll find out. He was never really into The Raveonettes to tell the truth. Just needed to fund his jazz obsession.

The new album is oot. It's pretty catchy, 'specially Bang! and Breaking into cars. Makes me want to hear their other stuff.

I heard some Raveoneettes on Triple J radio back when I was living in Australia... I thought they were pretty decent! Wasn't really sure what became of them though... however it seems like they *might* have continued on in some capacity!

I can't stop listening to this album. Certainly one of the most infectious this year.
