A buddy introduced me to Nervous Eaters last weekend, Hot Steel & Acid at least. Looking for more tunes like this, hopefully similar to the sort of punk/rock and roll mix that Nervous Eaters has going on this album.
I'll be digging backward through this thread, anybody familiar with this scene still posting here?

^ The first Boston band which comes to my mind at the moment, similar to The Nervous Eaters, is The Real Kids. Might be what you're looking for...
The Nervous Eaters and The Real Kids were two of my favorite Boston bands back in the day. Both were great live, also! |

Their debut album is great from beginning to end. Their second album is rather lackluster in comparison. They were always a kick-ass live band, though.
DMZ are another Boston band from the same era with a similar hard rock/punk sound... |
