Which band do you like more?

Im matching this 2 bands because personally i think they have a similar vibe and a similar dynamic but are still very different from each other. If you're not familiar with either band here's a sample to use as a reference.

Keep in mind those songs don't really define either band as a whole, they are just a reference.

It's hard for me to pick cause i love both bands. i think GBV has better vocal melodies and are more diverse but i think Pavement has a better defined sound and a more chilled vibe. if i had to pick just one though, i pick Pavement.

I saw both bands live in the 90's and as much as I enjoyed Guided by Voices, Pavement made much more of an impression on me as a live act.

Guided By Voices is the answer.
