Hey all-I'm looking for fans that are just as big of fans of Dave Matthews as my husband I. We go to a concert (or 2) each year ( would be a lot more if we could afford it) and so far we've been to 8. Members of the Warehouse for almost 4 years now...anyone out there? If anyone's somewhat not familiar with Dave and his crew I would definitely recommend their "Under the Table and Dreaming" CD-it's great with a lot of variety and a lot of hits, so I'm sure you've heard at least 1-2 of the songs. If you love John Mayer, you need to give it a try and you can't beat the concerts going to anyone else.

DMB rocks. I love their stuff. Extremly original and a nice break from the hardcore I listen to. Halloween is my favorite song by them, especially the live version.

Although I have numerous favorites, my favorite as of right now is #41, followed by Say Goodbye, Crush, and Two Step. And yes, he is just awing live. I would strongly recommend it to everyone. Before I went to my first concert, I didn't mind them. Once I experienced them live, I'll never stop going.

I'm both shocked and appaled that there is no DMB thread already. I can give credit to this band for making me a fan of music, as they are the first band that I truly liked and could just sit in my room and listen to. I have all of their albums with the exception of The Best of What's Around and Live at Red Rocks.
Favorite albums: Before These Crowded Streets Live at Folsom Field Busted Stuff Reccomended tracks: Ants Marching Dancing Nancies Crush The Stone Halloween Big Eyed Fish JTR |

And the Brits hate this guy. I'd disagree but he keeps putting out reasons for me not to.

he was on House. Other than that I liked him a lot about 7 years ago, then found better music.

I never got DMB. a woman I worked with burned me 3-4 of his cds a few years back. I gave them an honest listen, too, to see if maybe I was missing something. I just didn't see what she thought was so interesting about it.
It's not irritating to me, but it doesn't do anything for me, either. Just a matter of musical tastes, I suppose.
