What a great thread, JMO--you list a lot of artists I know about and a couple I don't. I'll have to check out some if not all of those tunes. Personally, I'm still catching up on stuff from last year! But I'll contribute new 2025 songs as soon as I can.

Thanks! I guess the other question I should've asked is how people stay on top of new music while also rediscovering nostalgic tracks?

I have a few new release sites I visit every Friday. Anything that sounds remotely interesting I listen to on Spotify. On top of this, Spotify has 'New Release Friday' that puts new release playlists into genres (punk, rock, indie, alt, folk, country, etc., etc.). Here is the station I listen to in my car, https://thesummit.fm/. You can listen through the website plus see what they've played the last couple hours. https://thesummit.fm/music-playlist/

There are no excuses for people who say that there is no good music coming out. It is easier and cheaper to find than at any point of my life.
