Well I haven't had any luck finding it by listening to their music, that's for sure.

Oddly, "Wonderwall" came on the radio this aft--first time I'd heard anything by them… I changed channels before the song ended because it was so boring.

I'm from Manchester and I have to say that Oasis were a phenomenon that encapsulated the mood of the whole country at the time. Sadly, I don't think the music will ever really stand the test of time the way of other (far superior) Manchester bands - i.e Joy Division, The Smiths.

They've done some alright songs, I've seen them live a few times back in the early days and they put on a good show.

Just don't think they are as relevant as everyone expected them to be.

I blame this on the brothers mostly not being able to stand one another for most of the time. They did great stuff when they put aside the BS and concentrated on the music.
