It's not like we "need" more heavy metal or loud, thrashing rock tunes either.
We don't "need" any more of anything. It's what you can do well, even if it's been done many times already.

The same thing was said about Roy Orbison, The Beach Boys, Bread, Journey, Chil Collins, Kenny G. etc etc every generation has an Oasis, it's a vicious cycle.
