Default back to business (<- not a band)

theres nowhere better then here (which is shocking) to talk about the music i like. so i suppose your stuck with me here for now.

so some bands ive been into lately...
chromeo- like an electronic version of maximo park minus the self righteous crooning and over-sensitive lyrics.
http://www.chromeo.net/site-fl.html

Louis XIV- pretty sure a lot of you have heard of them by now. they borrow from the likes of T-rex, the new york dolls and even the snarl of 70s punk.
http://www.louisxiv.net/

bobby conn and the glass gypsies- weird, psychedelic surrealism masqueraded as avante garde.

goldfrapp- ambient, soul influenced indie with snippets of new age.
http://www.goldfrapp.co.uk/supernature/

halomobilo- dynamic, guitar led pop-rock with an indie tinge.http://www.halomobilo.com/

hrududu factory- very experimental one man band from america.
http://www.drownedinsound.com/bands.php?id=7004

neils children- throwback to the buzzcocks but with a gothic influence
http://www.neilschildren.co.uk/

chew on that. aaand im back after a one day hiatus.

Good to see your staying LedZep, some of your posts were one of the reasons (amongst a few other members posts) for me joining MB in the first place. The Kinks thread etc........ Good call.
Love, Neils Children.

I'm sorta glad he's staying as being new it seems wierd to hear that a veteran of over 2500 posts was about to leave. I mean what kinda message does that send out to us rookies.

You gotta love Goldfrapp if only for Alison's leather cat costumes....

It's so hard to track Louis xiv down over here though, especially since I cant download anything...What do they sound like?
