Slowdive's influence has also extended beyond the indie spectrum and into metal and electronica, can't really say the same about Ride. I'd like to be proved wrong though. But I definitely believe you guys when you say that Ride had such a huge influence after they emerged at the start of the 90's.

Today Forever EP has some amazing songs on it. A lot of people tend to overlook EPs, but I find when it comes to shoegaze that's where a lot of the best material is.

could not agree more with this statement....i celebrate the discography of My Bloody Valentine and would certainly say that all of their best work was released on EPs
