Default Indie Concept albums

I've never had a thing for concept albums mainly because I rarely think they are executed correctly. That being said I've become interested in indie concept albums. I know of some of the more obvious ones; But even still throw them out there for me. The one that mainly got me interested in this is...

of Montreal's The Gay Parade

So what are the best, in your opinion, Indie concept albums? I know there's more out there.

I don't like the Decemberists generally but I really do love Hazards of Love.

Edit: My favorite, though, is hands down The Antlers - Hospice.

I have heard that Decemberists album at some time or another; But I'll need to give it another listen soon.

Great minds think alike. Yeah, that Hospice is great although you have to be in the right mood. It's not going to cheer up your day, brutal. I liked that one so much I saw them do it live.

It might not be your thing but the Magnetic Fields album 69 Love Songs has always been a favorite of mine.

Good call. All of Coin Locker Kid's releases are concept albums. Top notch and certainly worth checking out, I especially enjoy Traumnovelle as of late.
