The Bunnymen got skewered so there out. I don't want to vote more than two off per round and because there is a tie between Jesus & Mary Chain & Sonic Youth, I added up the previous votes from the last round, so former has gone to meet there maker, and Sonic Youth lives to fight another day. 20, Dead Milkmen, 19, Mission of Burma 18, Echo & the Bunnymen, 17, Jesus & Mary Chain 1. Bauhaus 2. Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds 3. The Cure 4. The Cramps 5. Gang of Four 6. Joy Division 7. Killing Joke 8. Ministry 9. Pixies 10. Public Image 11. Sisters of Mercy 12. Siouxie and the Banshees 13. Skinny Puppy 14. The Smiths 15. Sonic Youth 16. Violent Femmes Vote 4 off again. Polls close Saturday night PT, provided there are at least 5 votes. in no way did i think Jesus and Mary Chain would win this....but fuck....considering they're the main influence for a huge chunk of what was good about the 90s....i thought they would make it to well within the top ten
and what is pour James gonna say to them after the gig in November? Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds Public Image LTD The Smiths Sisters of Mercy |

I feel really bad voting off Skinny Puppy and Ministry because I don't know their stuff well AT ALL but if I kept abstaining they'd end up winning. I'm sure they're great but I haven't quite delved in enough yet to know so they get my vote.
Bauhaus The Cramps Siouxie and the Banshees Skinny Puppy Also I don't think many of the bands left are really 'winner' material, maybe one or two. We'll see what happens. |
