I'm just glad the guy didn't take on board my suggestions because if R.E.M. and Husker Du were being voted off so coldly I don't think I could withstand it. I'd hit the bottle.

You still have one vote

Violent Femmes
-Skinny Puppy
-Pixies

Well two of my favourite bands (The Pogues/The Cult) were voted off in the first round.

I do notice that people tend to be coming from two different angles here. Both the Sisters of Mercy & Ministry were on the verge off being voted off once, so the only thing I can say, if you vote eventually that bands number will come up.

Finally I understand that everyone has emotional attachment to certain bands so its good to see everyone is keeping things civil, I can't believe you voted of the Pogues you fuc#in c#nts!!!!

Says he who votes The Smiths.

You know I probably shouldn't have used the C word in todays PC environment, but what can I say...dating Buffy has made me soft.

Anyhow present tally:

Echo & the Bunnymen 5, Jesus & Mary Chain 4, Sonic Youth 4, Sisters of Mercy 3, Gang of Four 2, Violent Femmes 2, Public Image limited 2, Nick Cave 2, Skinny Puppy 2, Smiths 2, Cramps 1, Pixies 1, Ministry 1

Polls close tomorrow night in case anyone wants to fly in a deliver a death blow to one of the above bands. Voting 4 off this time, cheers.

I think you misunderstood, you can vote off the same bands as last time, just list them. Don't vote twice. I've already tallied your original votes

Final tally: Echo & the Bunnymen 5, Jesus & Mary Chain 4, Sonic Youth 4, Sisters of Mercy 3, Gang of Four 2, Violent Femmes 2, Public Image limited 2, Nick Cave 2, Skinny Puppy 2, Smiths 2, Cramps 2, Pixies 1, Ministry 1 Bauhaus 1 Killing Joke 1, Siouxie & the banshees, 1

The Bunnymen got skewered so there out.

I don't want to vote more than two off per round and because there is a tie between Jesus & Mary Chain & Sonic Youth, I added up the previous votes from the last round, so former has gone to meet there maker, and Sonic Youth lives to fight another day.

20, Dead Milkmen, 19, Mission of Burma 18, Echo & the Bunnymen, 17, Jesus & Mary Chain

1. Bauhaus
2. Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds
3. The Cure
4. The Cramps
5. Gang of Four
6. Joy Division
7. Killing Joke
8. Ministry
9. Pixies
10. Public Image
11. Sisters of Mercy
12. Siouxie and the Banshees
13. Skinny Puppy
14. The Smiths
15. Sonic Youth
16. Violent Femmes

Vote 4 off again. Polls close Saturday night PT, provided there are at least 5 votes.

Gang of Four
Sonic Youth
The Pixies
Joy Division
