No because Andrew Wood died so it couldn't go on but i tell you what two great bands were created as a result of it. Pearl Jam and Sound Garden

Except for the fact that Soundgarden was already a band when AW died, and not a single member of MLB joined Soundgarden.

Temple of the Dog was a tribute project, not an actual band.

That hasn't stopped other bands. AC/DC and Alice In Chains, for example. Also, if you want, you can pretend that Andrew never died for the sake of this discussion.

Also, as Paul stated, Soundgarden was around before MLB. I think Soundgarden and Malfunkshun started around the same time, though.
