Default Best Gig/Band youve ever been to

just picking up from where someone said modest mouse woz the best band they've ever seen live (they were good but not that good surely!!) i thought id start a thread so you can name the best band/gig etc. uve ever been to.

for me i would have to say Bloc Party a while ago supported by mystery jets and some other band, had an amazing time (Leeds ****pit).

the best 'big' band tho wud have to be Muse, just amazing!!

Hmm, I'd say the best band I've ever seen live are The Rakes. They were just so lively and wow. Interpol were also really good, but I think The Rakes win on this one. ^_^

best gig I've ever been to has to be Muse at NEC Birmingham, my first and bect gig. It was amazing.

Patrick Wolf or Antony & the Johnsons, I'd have to say Antony because he didn't have a rubbish support band.
Both are stuff of legends, and extremely magical places to stumble into for one or two nights a year.

Worst: Shack at the Manchester Academy in 1999.

For me that would be a concert I went to consisting of:

The Lunachicks, Ani DiFranco, Tito Puente, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones and George Clinton and the P Funk Allstars.

That was in about '97.

I saw the rakes and they were ****e..sorry, I just couldn't get into it..Babyshambles wer emuch, much better, even though pete was ****ed..
