Stephen Malkmus & the jicks

pavements main man back with a darker, more menacingly benign sound check out "dark wave"- its one hell of a song.

I really like most of Pig Lib Stu, specially because it's that bit darker. Pavement were class, really summery but it's nice to see him do something so different so well. I don't know if you listen to Arab Strap but you'd probably like them too.

For anyone else who likes Stephen Malkmus, the Silver Jews are usually a good bet as well.

I love Stephen Malkmus, he's definitely way up there for me. Pig Lib is a great album

I'm not a massive fan of his post-Pavement albums but I'll be checkin' this. He's playing here in November, well stoked to see that for sure.

New one is solid, just too long.

Anyway, haven't got round to the new one yet, but I pretty much dig every SM&TJ album so I'm looking forward to giving it a spin.
