Not really, R. Stevie Moore is probably better. I usually don't go for lo-fi pop these days, so I don't really know, and if anything I go for Flying Saucer Attack if I want that grit. I've been hearing more about his shenanigans the past few years than anything about them as a musician or their music, so I dropped him mainly for that.
