Bought the album today, gave it one listen through. A few good songs, but it's definitely not intended to be an album that's going to have immediate appeal in one listen-through.

Veckatimist is an awesome album. And, along with Yellow House, to me it had appeal on only about the 2nd listen, some of it even on the 1st.

Shields takes a while to get into.
