The Grizzlies have some late picks this year, but that doesn't mean there's no fun to be had.

Well, maybe. I admit the analogies weren't perfect.

i never really got into grizzly bear as much as i maybe should have. other than yellow house, i haven't really listened to a grizzly bear full-length. i absolutely love knife though; i remember listening to that often when we had free time with the computers at school.

two weeks was also pretty cool, but i didn't really give an honest listen to veckatimest. i breezed through it mostly; i'll probably go back and listen just because of this thread. shields too.

i think the friend ep is great though. their take away show is also enjoyable

Veckatimest has really grown on me. When I first listened to it I thought "meh," though deep down I sensed it might be something I could like better if I listened to it more. Now, after maybe 10 listens or so, I think it's a fantastic album.

Shields had gotten better - and in one sense I think it might have the most sophisticated songwriting - but it still trails behind Yellow House and Veckatimest in my book.
