Everything after the Blue album went down the drain, but I've never heard Pinkerton..

Antonio^ have you heard the whole Blue Album? Cause if our tastes are really that close, you'll love it.

On last.fm it scrobbles the blue album as the green album. Anyone know how to fix this?

well i haven't, but since i'm seeing the insane amount of hype around it, i guess i'll try to get it. i'll check back on this thead with a response ;)

Change your album tags to "Weezer (Blue)"

well, i just finished the album, and it definately reaffirms my statement about their pop rock attributes. the melodies and instrumentation are very well done. the album's really good, and i can see myself replaying it many times, but i'm not about to put Weezer on any "OMG greatest band evar" pedestal anytime soon

I dig the blue album as well, but everything past Pinkerton is downhill for me...

After Blue, it took some time to adjust to Pinkerton but it has become on par with blue for me, and then it's a sporatic hit & miss from there...but I think that is their point--almost every song since Pinkerton is verse and chorus and the solos sound just like the chorus...?

They're still great in my book though...
