They are quickly becoming my favorite band ever. Tyler Joseph is an amazing songwriter. Every song he writes is gold in terms of mood, lyrics, and eclectic style. Not a fan of preaching, but Tyler's lyrics manage to walk right on the perfect edge between overdoing it and leaving it up for interpretation. The introspection in his lyrics is, frankly, beautiful to me. I listen to some of his cynically optimistic lyrics and it just brightens my mood. The guy just writes such relatable stuff and IMHO that's one of the greatest thing a songwriter/musician/artist can do: make connections with others.

I love all their albums. This will probably quickly change, but I think Regional at Best >>> Vessel >>> Twenty One Pilots.

They're also so electric live. Saw them live opening for AWOLNATION and they blew me away despite me not knowing all their songs at the time, which is usually a requirement for 99.9% enjoyment of a concert although this was a festival setting.

So many favorites, but here are some of their lesser known favs of mine:

I'm was sooo happy when I heard "Holding On to You" on the hits station- I practically squealed. One of the few bands I 100% hope they go mainstream so the world can hear their amazing music as with Tyler's writing I totally have faith they'll keep it up no matter who's listening.

Lastly, the meaning of their name is fantastic food for thought (look it up on their website bio if you want). Overall, they're just one of those bands that are just on the edge of perfection who should never change being how brilliant they are.
