I would have to agree. I don't think the last record was 'bad' necessarily, just not as good as their earlier work. Thickfreakness= excellent, couldn't agree more.

You may well be right, I got Rubber Factory in a mass splurge with a ton of other stuff so I may not have given it a fair crack of the whip. I'll put it in the car next week and live with it for a bit.

Thanks for the TV on the Radio track as well, had been recommended them countless times before, but never actually gotten round to listening to them.

But now I will.

DFA 1979 are a better two-piece in my opinion. now that guy fuzzes the bass to its limits.

Hmm, not so sure that would fit into the Blues quite so much. Loud, yes. Very. Good? Yes. Very.

I admit there are a plethora of all male two piece bands ripping it up. But not the Eurythmics.

the white stripes have kind of inadvertently started this whole two piece rock phase.
id agree with you on the DFA 79 not being blues point. a lot more of an electronic influence with them.

Of course White Stripes are a great 2 piece band but, they don't belong in this genre, where would be a better place for them? Stu just said that too - weird
