Has anyone not heard "Fix You"? Maybe 'twas just me, but I thought it was pretty good...

Good good. Just one of those songs which you kind of stop everything you're doing to hear it for the first time. I think it's more the lyrics than the song though. "...When you're too in love to let it go, but if you never try then you'll never know...just what you're worth..." Really quite beautiful.

Yeah Fix You was amazing when I heard it ending Glastonbury...Little less amazing by Live 8, then by the time those bloody rich Yanks on the OC savaged it was just lost on me. Ah no its a really touching song, especially live. I despise Coldplay for what they are, but Itd be just wrong to say they dont make great music. Clocks is a classic...As for recommending Chris Martin over the four German dudes ????? WHAT??? Kraftwerk are visionary geniuses. While Coldplay stick pretty closely to the emotional stadium rock template, Kraftwerk are a band that truly push boundaries (one of the few bands that still do). How can four guys fiddling with computers (ok that sounds wrong) and synths on stage manage to be one of the best live bands in the world?? Only Bavaria knows!
Oh yeah and White Shadows is FANTASTIC...but that one about his wife MAYBE POSSIBLY someday leaving him. thats just moany crap...Get over it Chris she was outta yer league anyway

I finally listened to it. I still think they're boring. At least I tried.
