At least they beat the Hip hop, rap, and pop-rock on music stations.

stu stu stu...i've just downloaded it and i have been listening to it all afternoon....it's briliant...i think it might be even better then parachutes...some people have a problem with them not changing that much, but i think their sound has changed a bit since parachutes, parachutes was more music for rainy days, whilst x&y is music for stadiums...their music has become monumental and they have become a stadium rock band, something like pink floyd....songs like talk and the speed of sound were created for a huge light show....and i like how some songs have a faster drum beat , sorta electronic, close to new order...i would like to see them develope in that direction...and although i like the slower songs too, i have a feeling they sorta feel obligated to make songs like that, anyway the obvious standout tracks for me are speed of sound, talk and hardest part, absolutley brilliant, but there seriously isn't a bad or annoying song on the album ( i really didn't like god put a smile on your face on AROBTTH )...so in short i love it!!

the song that i think stood out is 'fix you'. this album is definately more electronic. the song 'talk' started off from a Kraftwerk sample.........

I am a massive Coldplay fan (seeing them in 20 days! ) X&Y is a good album, not fantastic just good.

I agree a lot of people hype them up way too much which im sure gets on their tits aswell. But i dont think anyone can doubt there talent. I loved Parachutes and enjoyed AROBTTH this album is so much different from Parachutes and miles off their earlier stuff. But still it is good and an enjoyable listen.

If your a coldplay fan buy it, if your more into poppy coldplay, AROBTTH is the album for you.

Hmm....It could go either way for me. I'm gonna pick up the first album, before I get this one. I know the first one is good, but I'm not so sure with this. Jury's still out, in my case.
