Anyone else heard of them? i can't link but my favourite song is No Destruction. It's a great indie band that has strong influences of acid rock.

Not sure I hear much acid rock in their sound. They're making 60s and 70s-style psychedelic pop & glam, most notably influenced by David Bowie, T. Rex and The Rolling Stones. I'm been enjoying them a heck of a lot lately.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Found this band about a week ago and instantly liked them. When I listened to the entire album though it seemed like a mix of so many different influences that I almost had to think of it track by track rather than an overall sound. "No Destruction" reminds me of The Velvet Underground whereas "Shuggie" reminds me of The Zombies and "San Fransisco" reminds me of Jefferson Airplane. Etc.

Anyways, I like these guys.

For you people who haven't heard them....

21st Century was a murderous album. Even though they are very transparent about their influence, they do their thing so good I just can't be bothered with that.

He sounds like Jagger in "No Destruction", I got goosebumps.

^ Agree with you there, although I know at one point I was thinking Lou Reed/VU.

Their influence is a little obvious, I think them though. Like the rest of you above, I like No Destruction. However, my favorite is 'On Blue Mountain'.

I liked the album a lot when I first listened, but it has faded a little bit for me, except for a couple of tracks. I had to down-rate it from 4 stars to 3.5 on RYM.
