Weird Find (any help?)
 

okay so before I get into this here is what I need help with
search Phantom Magnet Songs About Everything
while having one of those youtube music sessions where you find yourself lost in a bizzare world of unwatched music/music videos, this kid pops up, and I like it but I don't, it's weird in that it's original but not idk for my first post on this forum I was wondering what you guys think of this, I am attempting to see if there is an album or anything just to try it out, and this forum seems like the right place to get some opinions(I for one kind of like it) so I thought I would share it and see if anyone has heard of it :wave:

Haha I'd never heard of it before, and I honestly have no idea what I think of it either. It sounded like a weird combination of playing an arcade game and listening to the radio. The noises kinda mix together and end up being pretty trippy... o_O The video description says there's an album so maybe try searching that.

I listened to the one song. First off, there is a boat load of creativity going on - kudos for that, and that is the important thing. The video is just great for what it is doing - really cool. The music as a mix up of sounds is also very creative and I think comes off well.

Then there are the vocals...I generally dig quirky vocals but there is a fine line between quirky and the abyss. The vocals here are just too off key and end up as grating and distracting. Just a small improvement on the tonality of the vocals would get this across the line. Imagine David Byrne type vocals.
