Check out DIIV

I think they have a pretty cool sound, although their echo and reverb effects are way over the top, i wonder how they would sound acoustic haha

this song really gives off a Beatles-esque feel to it, which is neat. Certainly growing to this album quickly.

Violent Femmes' second album is one of the most fantastic things I've heard in recent weeks. Might be a good transitional album to finally get me into country.
