Epic opener to such a great album. |
Atlas Genius - Get Lucky
THIS IS SEXINESS! |
|
I like the intense build, and different approach to the original, but the delivery of words feel less connected to the song. The Swans of '96 were a precursor to "The Seer", the latter a more refined version where Gira knows how to draw a song out, in a good way. |

Huge Pixies fan. If you haven't heard of them, check them out now. They basically launched Alternative as a genre. |

mewithoutYou - "Bear’s Vision of St. Agnes" (Ten Stories, 2012)
A solid album considering the epic fail of the previous album, It's All Crazy! It's All False! It's All a Dream! It's Alright. Not as great as their first 3, but a logical progression if you disregard the aforementioned misstep. This is probably the best song of the album. |

But ya Ten Stories is better and probably just behind Brother, Sister and Catch For Us the Foxes for my fav of theirs. Great band glad to see they get some attention around here |
