I was a big fan of El Cielo. An incredible album.
Other than that, no. I heard some of their recent stuff and it was too generic, trying too hard to appeal to so many people and neglecting fans of their old style in the process. |

They're a good band. The Lead singer has a great voice, and each Album sounds very different. Leitmotif is heavier, El Cielo is experimental and evocative but a tad meandering, Catch Without Arms is simpler and less cohesive, but contains some of their best singles, The Pariah, The Parrot, and The Delusion is a good mix of the previous two (their best work imo), and their new album is rubbish. The first 4 are worth getting if you enjoy experimental music and can abide the pretension that inevitably goes with it.
