Delaware is a great album, Instead of sounding dated now it has an almost nostalgic early-90's quality to it. 'Winona' is a belter of a tune and arguably the standout moment on the album, but I have a fondness for the mainly instrumental 'Kick the Tragedy' which shows what can be done with very few chords. It's beautiful to listen to.
This thread also reminded me to listen to their Mayfield bootleg, which is supposedly their aborted first album. It's recorded from degraded master tapes but it still shows that this could have been a decent enough album. Their style here is dreamier yet more derivative with strong echoes of Slowdive and Chapterhouse, but there's some decent songs on it.

I like Delaware, very good album. Kick The Tragedy would be indubitably my favourite song on the album if it weren't for the spoken word part which really detracts from it in my opinion. Nonetheless, the rest of that song is beautiful enough that it's one of my favourites too.
