The Greenhorns
Just thought this is an extremely overlooked band. 90% of the people I know have never heard of them. Such talented group of musicians needs some love.
They aren't very innovative in their style, I know. They more herald to older styles of music. But I still like em. |

The Dead Weather were amazing! It was so awesome. I was up real close to the front. Allison Mosshart was a real energetic performer. Every time Jack left his drumset and picked up his guitar, it was epic. He played guitar for the song "Will there be enough water?" He was putting so much into it. It was a great show. I'll have to post a video of it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Q-_WTedin4 There used to be a much better video of it that Bonnaroo posted, but it doesn't seem to be on their anymore. Last edited by blastingas10; 02-26-2012 at 03:06 PM. |

That's pretty sick. No doubt. I can't seem to get into a Dead Weather album like I can a White Stripes or Raconteurs album. I can set and listen to their albums straight through. I get bored with the Dead Weather 10 minutes in.

Ya I definitely like The White Stripes most. The Raconteurs and Dead Weather are pretty equal, I'd probably give the edge to The Raconteurs. I'd much rather have Jack on guitar rather than drums. But the song 'Will there be enough water?' is sick, especially live.
