If "Pixies" was not supposed to refer to the band members but to actual Pixies, e.g. in the same way that Nirvana refers to a philosophical concept, then calling them The Pixies would be idiotic. But if you are correct in saying that the band members themselves refer to the band as "The Pixies", then I suppose that shows their intent and leaves no further room for argument. |
