Big fan, as you can probably tell from my username. (Also, awesome points for anyone who recognizes my avatar)
If I were to rank their albums (including Come On Pilgrim) it would go something like: 1. Doolittle 2. Surfer Rosa 3. Come On Pilgrim 4. Trompe le Monde 5. Bossanova Explanation for the ranking: Doolittle and Surfer Rosa are my definite favourites, but the reason I put Doolittle the highest, is partly because I think it works better as a whole and that my average enjoyment of the tracks are a bit higher, I guess. I'm not altogether sure which one I like best out of Come On Pilgrim and Trompe le Monde, so I basically went with my gut feeling, but they could easily be put the other way around. Bossanova is decidedly my least favourite since it has a few tracks that I don't care for all too much, and none of the other albums has any. Favourite songs overall (in no particular order): Monkey Gone to Heaven Velouria Where Is My Mind? River Euphrates (An underrated song in their catalogue in my opinion) Ed Is Dead I Bleed No. 13 Baby Letter to Memphis Gigantic Caribou |

Best reunion song, sure.
EP2 was released last Friday. Might be more solid than EP1 but nothing that strikes me as awesome quite yet. PIXIES | Four New Songs

Surfer Rosa > Doolittle
IMO.

Really love the earlier Pixies stuff, up through Doolittle. I saw them on their first US tour, on the day Surfer Rosa was released. My top ten Pixies songs, in no particular order (except the first one) and subject to change:
I've Been Tired Nimrod's Son Levitate Me Weird At My School Cactus River Euphrates Down To The Well (not the version on Bossanova) Wave Of Mutilaton Gouge Away Ed Is Dead |

I once owned all the studio albums, long before a reunion occurred, but ended up shedding them all apart from Doolittle. That album is almost perfect but the others are spotty at best.
Bossanova would be my (distant) second favourite and Trompe le Monde has the odd fine track. |
