hi, can anyone reccomend some indie/indie rock albums or artists that they feel i need to listen to, board of listening to same old stuff.

Local Natives
Ra Ra Riot
Vampire Weekend
Sufjan Stevens
The National
The Antlers

All of those are really easy on the ears; good to start with. From there you should expand
