I remember a couple of years back the NME devoted 2 WHOLE news pages on one of Pete Doherty`s houseparties getting stopped by police.
The basic story was he had a party at his house & neighbours called the police where they were told to turn their stereo down. 2 whole pages for THAT. That`s the kind of stuff that could put me off a band no matter how good they are |

i dont understand why people hate bands because they get media coverage. ok fair enough, 2 pages broadcasting a house party is a bit pointless and a waste of 10 minutes of readers lives but on the whole, commercialisation just means a band is popular and successful.
