A cool indie rock band. 'Slowcore,' if you will. They were among the bands that helped lay the foundation for that whole movement.
A Taste For Bitters is my favorite album, and a good place to start.

Bump. A Taste for Bitters is exceptional. For some reason it's taken me a very long time to check Chokebore out, but I'm so glad I finally did. Von Balthazar has one hell of a voice too.

i LOVE their first two albums.....after that they just become pretty good (not saying their bad or anything.....just not as good as their first two)
