i need help conserning jack kerouac and sonic youth.

Hey im wondering if any one could help me out . I have a school project due, in a week and well im not that far i have had success finding sources for the other parts of my assignment but i have found my self kinda stumped. Fundamentally what the project is is you choose a word and explore different sides of it. you do this by finding sources and writing reflections. being a big big sy fan and other underground acts i chose underground. the step i need help with is

"FIND a collection of several images (art, symbols, advertisements,
photographs) and media (films, songs, television shows, newspaper or
magazine articles) that may help you to further reveal the theme you
have selected, keeping in mind that you need to be faithful to the two
sides of your theme focus.

Select two of these you would like to include in your final tapestry and
write a brief (100 word) reflection for each outlining the connections you
have made between the visual and your theme focus." if any one could send me any links that deal with the theme underground (jack Kerouac, the road not taken by robert frost) type of thing that would be greatly appreciated . mind my terrible grammar and sorry for the long post :P.
